Educational Visits

During the course of the academic year, the school organises a number of educational visits and journeys. These usually take place during the school day and children, in the main, return before 3.15 pm. However, if a late return is unavoidable, parents are always informed as soon in advance as possible via the School’s Vital Information Line – 0871 220 7795. Parents are asked to sign a ‘Parent Consent form’ when admission takes place although a shortened version is usually circulated with the information of each visit. A child cannot be included in a visit until parental consent is given. These visits enrich our curriculum and benefit the children enormously. However, we are reliant on voluntary contributions from parents to help to support the cost of providing them. All such visits are subject to the Charging and Remissions Policy which can be found in the School Policies Section.  . The children who take part in visits etc are insured for the occasion by the school. If you want further details of this insurance, please contact the school secretary.
