Arrangements in case of severe weather

Even in snowy conditions, expect school to be open.

However, should it be necessary for school to be closed, a decision will be made as early as possible and a message will be placed on the School Website, emailed to parents and recorded on the School’s Vital Information Line – 0871 2246121, which can be accessed by all callers simultaneously.

There is no point calling the School’s usual telephone number as it is unlikely that anyone will be in school to answer the phone. Messages will also be published on Worcestershire County Council's Website (via the link below) and notices will be posted at the school gate.

Announcements will also be broadcast on local radio stations but there is usually a considerable delay before schools are added to the list.

If the school is open, please consider sending the children in with wellies or boots (as well as their school shoes), in case there is opportunity to go outside at breaktimes.
