Chelsea Flower Show

24th May 2019

I would like to congratulate the children in Years 2 and 3 for the fantastic art work, around the theme of Climate Change, which we were asked to produce by Baroness Floella Benjamin, on behalf of Birmingham City Council. This follows our success in a competition we entered last year, when our children’s work was chosen for the Council’s garden on the theme of the Empire Windrush.

This year, the Council has created an amazing garden on a theme of Climate Change, which is currently on display at the Chelsea Flower Show and has actually won a Gold Medal.

Our children’s work was used as the edging for this incredible display and was discussed and shown on episodes of “Midlands Today” and the BBC’s “RHS Chelsea Flower Show” earlier this week.

This is a fantastic achievement for our School and for all of the children in Years 2 and 3.
