Hand in Hand for Oscar

4th October 2019

I would like to thank all of the children and parents for their support during our “Hand in Hand for Oscar” Day. We managed to raise £372.80 for Oscar Saxelby-Lee, a five year old little boy who has been courageously fighting T-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia for the last 9 months. I am pleased to be able to inform you that, thanks to the many contributions made, including our own, the £500,000 target required, to either fund a second transplant or enrol him onto CAR-T therapy in Singapore, has been reached. He is currently continuing to receive a donor lymphocyte infusion, which could help remove his remaining cancer cells.

We continue to hope and pray that Oscar will recover, knowing that the likelihood of him making a recovery has been significantly boosted by the support he has received.
